A Full-On Parade at Wagah, on the Pakistan-India Border

TL;DR — A border post between Pakistan and India holds a ceremony where soldiers kick their legs so high they nearly boot each other in the face.

Wagah is one of the crossing points between Pakistan and India, and it is famous for the parade and flag-lowering ceremony held there every day since 1959. Even though it is a daily routine, tourists travel to watch it, because the parade here is truly one of a kind. Where else do soldiers march with their legs kicked up over their heads, almost kicking each other in the face, sneering at one another and glaring fiercely? You could say ordinary walking just won't do... You probably can't find this anywhere else. One reason is that the split between India and Pakistan was not pretty, and the two have been in conflict since 1947, sometimes escalating into war. That is rather frightening now, since both have nuclear weapons. Yet when the ceremony ends, the soldiers of both countries turn, smile and shake hands in a friendly way. You could say the two countries must love each other to some degree (right?)
